Johnson's Heritage Farmstead

Hello! We are Rod and Michelle Johnson. We are happy to bring you our handmade soaps, solid lotion bars, and lip balms that we make on our farmstead in Potlatch, Idaho.

We make our soaps the old-fashioned way from scratch, by blending natural ingredients in small batches and pouring into handmade wooden block molds. This process is known as cold-process soapmaking. We use a custom blend of 6 oils in our soaps, combine with natural colorants and botanicals and add in just the right amount of fragrance oil or essential oils – all our own recipes. Some of our soaps include our raw cow's milk which creates a luxurious lather. All our soaps contain natural glycerin which leaves your skin feeling soft. When ready, the soap is hand cut into bars, put on drying racks and aged for a month. It is then ready to label and sell.
