Fairy Goodmothers

Fairy Goodmothers is a 501(c)(3) organization, a recognized nonprofit by the Columbus Foundation, and a recipient of GuideStar’s Candid Silver Seal. We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to promoting confidence and self-esteem by providing formal dresses and accessories to those lacking the means to personally purchase them.

Cinderella’s Closet Boutique opens every prom season for multiple days, welcoming high school students to select a prom dress and accessories. Since its inception, Fairy Goodmothers has outfitted over 19,000 students in Central Ohio and beyond (we’ve had students come from West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Pennsylvania) with the help of generous organizations like yours. In 2025 alone we served 1,083 students through our Cinderella’s Closet Boutique.
