Nubia Pena & Vladimir (Vlad) Sarmiento
Nubia: Born in Colombia, moved to Utah over two decades ago. Graduated from UVU in Psychology. Had a psychologist background in Colombia, and a masters program coordinator there. Worked in sales for many years in the US. Loves to develop her creativity with new recipes in the Kitchen, considered a life long learner and strives to be informed in regards to health practices, nutrition, travel, behavioral psychology and ways to have a healthy lifestyle. Mom to Vlad.
Vlad: Born in Colombia, raised in Utah. Graduated from BYU in Neuroscience + Business. Background in Clinical Research and Product Research and Development, Medical Sales, Pre-med, and food science.
LDS, served in the Colorado Denver North Mission. Amateur Triathlete and Calisthenics/KB instructor. Lives in Orem, UT. Loves to travel, hike, and be outdoors as often as time allows.
