The Hive Mind Apiary

The seed that would eventually become The Hive Mind Apiary began with an isatiable curiousity and a single hive. Quite literally on a whim I purchased my first hive nearly 7 yeaars ago and decided to jump head first into the world of beekeeping. From the first moment the bees arrived on my doorstep that day I knew that working with these amazing creatures was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Since that day I have worked day and night to further the reach of The Hive Minnd Apiary and its mission "To enrich the local ecosystem from within by furthering ethical and ecological practices"
Today I operate 28 of my own hives along with dozens contraacted out to local farmers and hobbyists alike. We also have begun working on a local upcycling program which works with local chefs and grocers to reduce local food waste to make high quality locally sourced bodycare products such as soaps and shampoos.
While I continue to grow the business, the most important goal of The Hive Mind is to remain a local force for good which focuses on its roots here in the Salt Lake Valley first and foremost.
