Girl Get Up Society

Dear Soda City Market Team,

My name is Timberly Griffin, and I'm reaching out on behalf of Girl Get Up Society, a South Carolina-based nonprofit dedicated to helping Black women and girls (ages 13+) connect their mental health to a greater state of hope, healing, and happiness.

We're interested in hosting an Affirmation & Information Table at Soda City Market on either Saturday, August 16th or 23rd, in honor of Give 8/28, a national day of giving that celebrates and supports Black-led organizations. Our table would feature:

- A community Affirmation Wall where visitors can write messages of encouragement for Black women and girls
- Branded affirmation cards, stickers, and T-shirts are available for purchase in place of donations
- Mental health resources and information about our programs
- A QR code for optional donations to support access to therapy and self-care services.

We believe this activation aligns beautifully with Soda City's mission to uplift local makers and community-centered initiatives. Our setup is minimal, interactive, and designed to foster joy, reflection, and connection. We'd love to be considered for a vendor spot and are happy to provide any additional information or materials you may need.
