My Friend Sarah Made It began in 2019 with a simple challenge and a group of friends. What started as "girls' nights in" finishing crafts for my fellow boy-moms turned into a passion for creating the perfect accessory. The name reflects that exact spirit: high-quality, handmade pieces created by a friend, for a friend.
I specialize in lightweight dangle earrings, studs, and curated accessories crafted from leather, cork, wood, and acrylic. To keep my collections unique and small-batch, I cut all wood and acrylic pieces in-house and hand-paint my wooden designs so that no two are ever exactly alike. When you shop with me, you’re supporting a network of makers - I proudly source the bulk of my supplies from other woman-owned small businesses. Whether you’re looking for that "yes, this is it!" piece for your outfit or a thoughtful gift, my shop is a bright, welcoming space designed for fun, fresh, and feminine energy.

Hi, I’m Sarah, the maker behind My Friend Sarah Made It, a small-batch accessory brand based in Largo, Florida.
I create lightweight handmade earrings using leather, cork, wood, and acrylic, along with bookmarks, hair accessories, and other giftable pieces designed to be fun, wearable, and easy to love. My pieces are cut and hand-finished in my home studio, with a focus on thoughtful details, comfort, and everyday style.
I love creating pieces that feel special but not "save these for a special occassion" - the kind of earrings you reach for often, get compliments on, and immediately want in another color. Whether you’re shopping for yourself, a teacher gift, or just because your outfit needed the earrings, I want shopping small to feel personal, easy, and fun.
When I’m not making, I’m juggling life with my two teenage sons, planning my next market setup, or reading with my book club.
