I have been designing and creating beautiful hand-crafted jewelry for over 15 years now. What began in 2003 as a part-time passion-project (I was originally a medical researcher) became a full-time vocation in 2007, when I decided to take the plunge and leave the pharmaceutical world in pursuit of my dream. My jewelry company, Tone of Earth, is the realization of that dream.

My custom designs reflect a marriage of traditional Chinese principles of jewelry crafting with a contemporary western aesthetic. They encompass a variety of different forms and materials, including classic pearls, silver, gemstones, crystals, and more. Among my most popular and unique creations are those that combine traditional freshwater cultured pearls with silver embellishments in sleek, contemporary styles.

I am an honors graduate of the prestigious Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, California, where I was certified in gemology, jewelry design, fabrication, rendering, setting, casting, mold making, and the creation of carved bezels. I have been honored to receive first-place awards at a number of well-known art fairs over the past several years, and I very much value every opportunity I get at art fairs to meet and converse with jewelry lovers throughout the US.
