Kay Hova Art

My name is Kaylin Hovance and I am a mixed media artist currently based out of Dunedin, FL.

Each painting is created by strategically pouring resin, mixed with acrylic paints and inks onto wood panels. The paintings are built up layer-by-layer creating an illusion of depth and complexity. The process is a delicate balance of allowing the fluidity of the material to settle on its own, while simultaneously manipulating it to achieve the desired outcome.

My work is inspired by nature, and I try to emulate its beauty through the use of vibrant colors, fluid movements and organic compositions. Incorporating a range of mixed media and pouring techniques has given me the ability to truly experiment and create a variety of unique reactions.
