Butterfly Spirits is a Montgomery County Maryland, woman owned business. Primary products are Butterfly Liqueur and Butterfly Vodka. BUTTERFLY BOTANICAL LIQUEUR is a unique and proprietary recipe developed by Dr. Joshua Ammerman and his wife Alyssa. Dr. Ammerman, who practices neurosurgery at Sibley Hospital and Alyssa worked closely with Dragon Distillery in Frederick to create this all natural, gluten-free, no sugar added, botanical liqueur.Combining notes of rose, lavender and lemongrass, Butterfly’s unique, delicate flavor and distinct lavender-blue color is reminiscent of the golden age of spirits. At 50 proof it is easily accessible as an ingredient to many creative cocktails.
