Pare Candle launched 8/2/19 and is based in Franklin, TN. What started out as a hobby quickly became the inspiration for our business. We custom blend and hand pour natural soy and coconut wax candles, using high-quality fragrance oils enhanced with essential oils (all phthalate free). Our wicks are cotton, and both of our containers (14 ounce glass and 8 ounce stainless steel tin) are reusable. Our candles are crafted to burn evenly and tastefully fill your space with fragrance, and our presentation is intentionally minimal with clean lines, comfortable in any decor from rustic farmhouse to modern.

We have lived in Franklin since 2014, originally from central Virginia. We began making candles in 2016 for ourselves because we love burning them in our home, and we were inspired by the creativity and process so much that we decided to start Pare Candle. We have been a vendor at the Nolensville Farmers Market since 2020, after launching our business in 2019. We've established a solid connection with the community and love being part of such a tight knit family of farms, makers and artisans.
Our name Pare (rhymes with Care) reflects the focus on minimal living while maintaining beauty in our surroundings. It's a subtle acronym for Permeate your space, Awaken your senses, Renew your Spirit, Every day. We pour our heart and soul into every scent, every hand poured batch, and every engagement with our customers and retail partners. We are so grateful to be here.
