Wisdom Valley Farms

Wisdom Valley Farms is nestled in the rolling hills north of California, built on 100 picturesque acres on our family soil, sweat and love. My name is Mose, born in Ohio with a lifelong dream of growing produce. It was worth the business risk to feed my family all natural foods and share the bounty with my neighbors rather then hall my produce to a distant auction as we had done for more then a decade, but I feel confident that the family held together by strong a matriarch, Rachel, can continue a successful business, both here at the farm and at local Farmers Markets.
I had been growing conventional (using pesticides) for some years already for a local auction, and in 2017 it was time to renew my pesticide license, but I convicted that I don't want to do that. A lot of that is due to the fact that we have 10 children and four of those are...... special needs children and it has made me very aware that we need to change this food chain. I wanted to do my part to change that".
Some of the goods within the Wisdom Valley cornucopia include strawberry, tomatoes, lettuce, greens, peaches, apples, melons, green beans, cole crops, sweet corn, cukes, eggplants, onions, potatoes, okra, peppers, zucchini, winter squash, garlic, flowers, eggs, honey and more including non GMO beef. The cattle are born and raised on the farm without horomones or medications..

The work force is greatly aided by family and neighbors my father and marketing assistant Anita Wyman but have to give the most credit to my wife for making this endeavor work.
It takes a lot for a wife to raise children, keeping a home in order, assist with preparations for Farmers Market and see customers at the farm stand 5 days a week. Of all things I have heard in my life, one phrase rings the truest., "behind every successful man is a strong woman".
On our farm, activities most days you would see the children running about helping their parents and Sparky the horse trotting along with a wagon in tow as the sun crosses over the valley.
