What began as a quiet retirement hobby quickly blossomed into something much more. After 42 years of marriage, we—husband and wife—found ourselves with a little extra time and a shared love for creating things with our hands.
That single lamp turned into two, then five, then ten—each one different, each one made with care. Before long, friends and family began asking for their own. So we gave our little workshop a name: Glowing Gourds.
Today, Glowing Gourds is a small business with a big heart. We specialize in handcrafted gourd lamps, each one designed with pride and a focus on quality craftsmanship. Every lamp is a labor of love, from the first sketch to the final polish.
We take custom orders too—and unlike others, we never charge extra for a design that’s truly yours. Whether it’s a special pattern, a meaningful symbol, or a color that matches your favorite room, we’re happy to bring your vision to light.
