Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio

The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio is a non-profit art education Center. Our mission is to promote understanding, appreciation, and professional development in ceramic and glass arts. We are dedicated to providing a place where creativity and community meet.

Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio is organized and operated by the non-profit Iowa Artworks Inc. We are supported by earned income, grants, private contributions and memberships.

Our core programs include:
Clay and warm glass for all ages and ability levels serving professional & amateur artists, K-12 youth, educational institutions, and community outreach.

Artists--The ICCGS maintains a vibrant Artist Residency Program, as well as studio space, equipment and master classes for serious amateur and professional artists.

Youth: Supplemental art experiences for K-12 students, including classes, camps and mobile outreach programs in the Cedar Rapids Schools.

Mobile: we bring the fun to you through our mobile clay, we go out to area festivals and events to provide a variety of clay options including: Clay Creation Table and Ceramic Wheel Demonstrations.
