Vidal “Tony” Cerna is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of healthcare experience. Tony emphasizes holistic, preventative care that helps you stay healthy. He brings decades of experience in caring for adults at all levels of health, from disease prevention to treatment of chronic illnesses. Tony creates a compassionate, supportive environment where you always feel seen and heard. He encourages you to take an active role in your health, so you feel empowered to achieve optimal health and wellness.
Tony also understands what it’s like to navigate healthcare as a patient. He was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in his 20’s, eventually requiring a kidney transplant in 2009, then again in 2019. He was initially told he would need kidney dialysis within 6 months, however, through changes in his diet and lifestyle he was able to delay dialysis for over 8 years. He enjoys teaching small, meaningful changes you can make that help you feel better faster as you heal body, mind, and spirit.
Tony considers himself a movie buff with deep knowledge of cult classics, Sci-fi, and new releases. In his spare time, Tony enjoys cooking, making his own Komboucha, gardening, traveling to theme parks with his wife, and spending time with his family.
