About

Palmetto Pathways Academy is a new free public charter school serving students across South Carolina in grades 6-12. We are South Carolina’s first school without walls — a learner-centered ecosystem where learning happens everywhere, including online, in-person alongside community mentors in real workplaces, and with peers in regionally located learning innovation hubs. We partner with families and with members of the community to support individualized learning journeys for each student. Through our blended individualized approach and robust course offerings (including advanced, career and technical education, college preparatory, dual enrollment, honors, and special education), students graduate with a solid academic foundation, strong collaboration skills, workforce experience, proficiency in the responsible use of emerging technology, confidence in their abilities and next steps, and ready to take on the world!

Palmetto Pathways Academy was created by a team of dedicated and passionate veteran South Carolina educators with extensive experience at all education levels and across multiple education settings.
