My name is Tara Harvey and I am the founder of Aunt Tara’s Skin Food. This all started 17 years ago when I became pregnant and was told that I needed to go off the medication for my skin. I started doing research and making products for my family and quickly realized that all natural, organic, unprocessed, unrefined ingredients were what my skin needed to be fed. My nieces and nephews said, “Hey Aunt Tara, you need to start a business!” Four years ago I started Aunt Tara’s Skin Food and have developed several products since. But why Aunt Tara’s, what’s different about Aunt Tara‘s?
You see that cheesy face on there? That’s there to make you smile. To remind you that life is good. To remind you that there’s someone else out there doing the same thing you are…. getting up every morning and doing the day even when you feel like poo. Customers grab their Aunt Tara’s and see my face and hear my laugh and it makes them happy. If Aunt Tara’s can help someone be happy today while feeding their skin what it needs, my job is done!
