Umikah is a unique combination of artisanal products. It was born out of inspiration and passion for the complex flavors of the world.
The recipes were developed a long time ago and, at the time, the sauces blew the mind of many away.
So then we thought: “Why not share this incredible story with the rest of the planet (who is eager to try our spreads and curds)?”

Luciana “Uchi” Davidzon was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Coming from a medical family, she picked a different route, studying business administration at the University of Buenos Aires, and working for companies such as HSBC, KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Dannon, before moveing to New York City in the early 2000s.
16 years ago, she changed paths. With a passion for food fueling her decision, she founded Lola Mora, a boutique catering company. She also enrolled in Pastry School at International Culinary Center NYC where she was awarded the Les Dame D’Escoffier NYC 2010.
Uchi is a bilingual writer and recipe developer for many publications and sites in NYC, including The Huffington Post, About.com, The Latin Kitchen, Mamiverse, and VOXXI, among others.
She has been featured in various TV shows, including “Al Despertar” (Univisión 41) and “Vive la Mañana” (Univisión 49). Her recipes have also been mentioned in Telemundo´s website.
As one of the Top Blogueras Latinas she has been invited to the White House in 2012, to the United Nations in 2013 and the Capitol in 2015
On 2018 , Uchi launched a new gourmet line of sauces that can be used in innumerable sweet and savory recipes.
