About
Established 2010. We are a small family Beekeeping business located in central Ohio that specializes in varietal honey.
We usually have approximately 10 different varieties available including central Ohio honey types, spring, summer and fall Wildflower, Black Locust, Clover, Goldenrod and Buckwheat.
We also move some of our beehives in order to harvest unique honey varieties such as Blueberry, BlackBerry, and Raspberry.
Typically we will run 60 beehives for honey production which we do in conjunction with my family member / mentor located in Wellington Ohio.
Production Practices
Integrated Pest Management Antibiotic And Hormone Free
We practice Beekeeping with an emphasis on healthy honeybees. We are as organic as is possible in central Ohio but we do not sell our honey as organic... foraging honeybees can fly up to seven miles away from the beehive. Typically they remain within 1 mile of their hive but even then we can not say with absolute certainly that the bees have not foraged from non organic blooms only.
Integrates Pest Management is a central component to our Beekeeping philosophy.
