At Marmalade Sky, we thoroughly indulge our passion for baking with only the finest, most authentic ingredients with zero compromise. Our artisan gluten-free treats are baked fresh locally with organic ingredients.

Production Practices

We source all of our ingredients with an attention to the highest quality. Our dairy products and eggs are organic and locally sourced from Radiance Dairy, Kalona Super Natural, and Farmers’ Hen House. Our dried fruits are mostly organic and always free from chemical additives. Our spices and extracts are carefully selected for purity, flavor and quality.

Malak Nour
Malak Nour grew up in Paris, steeped in the French traditions of bread baking, pastry making, and season-based cooking. Since moving to the U.S. in 1982, she has dedicated herself to melding the richness of ingredient and rigor of technique of the French patisserie with the unaffected goodness of traditional American baked goods.

Inspired by her four kids, Malak began her long quest to perfect the art of baking the brownies, muffins, cakes, and cookies they loved. The result is a fresh and modern take on these beloved old time favorites.

When one of her children was diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity, Malak embarked on a decade-long, obsessive mission to reinvent each favorite recipe gluten free without sacrificing any of the taste. The results are luscious, buttery confections, infused with fresh fruits, natural extracts, fresh ground spices, and studded with rich chocolate, dried fruit, candied ginger and citrus.

Kids now grown, Malak is committed to elevating and establishing gluten free baking as an artisanal delicacy in its own right. That’s Marmalade Sky.
