Animated Earth Ceramics

Hi! I'm Paige Becker, the sole artist behind Animated Earth Ceramics. I have a funky, earthy, glaze-rich style of pottery. I’m not terribly into symmetry, and I love organic forms, so my pieces are mostly handbuilt (rather than wheelthrown). My work is meant to mimic unique and spectacular elements of the natural world as well as to stimulate the senses, so I enjoy using texture and color in surprising ways. I mostly make functional home wares: mugs, statement serving bowls, snack dishes, and small bowls. But I also enjoy making decorative, fun items such as ceramic dice, jewelry with ceramic beads, magnets, and ceramic buttons.
