R&R Pine Needle Baskets

These pine needle baskets are made from Pine needles collected in various veteran parks and other parks on the west side of Utah. The Pine needles are gathered, cleaned and boiled to make them flexible to put in coils. A centerpiece is artistically chosen and the needles are stitched with beeswax thread. Each basket takes about six hours to build.
