Spraying Sparks Metal Art

My name is Chris Cowart and I own and operate a small metal art business named Spraying Sparks Metal Art. I am located in Abbeville, SC. My son and I work together on making beautiful custom pieces that our customers can enjoy for a lifetime.
I create designs on a software program, cut it out of steel, grind it and paint it. Our grinding and painting technique are what sets us apart from other vendors. Using various grinding tools we create patterns of grind marks that will show through our special paint giving an extra shimmer to each piece. We mix paints to make different colors giving a unique look to each piece.
To finish off our metal art we add an automotive clear coat to seal the paint and colors for years to come. People often see our display and ask “is this glass?”
