My name is Rizan. I was born in Sudan, raised in Chad, and moved to the U.S. in 2010. Growing up, self-care and homemade products were a way of life, resulting in long, healthy hair and radiant skin. But in the U.S., I faced misconceptions about Black hair and struggled with the damaging effects of store-bought products.
As I worked with Black and Brown youth, I constantly received questions about my hair and skincare routine. I felt bad that I couldn’t direct them to products that truly worked—so I decided to create my own. Using my family’s ancient secrets, I developed natural, organic products rooted in tradition. What started as a personal journey soon turned into a mission to share these products with others, helping people embrace their natural beauty.
