Pittsburgh Pie Baking Company (DBA Pittsburgh Pie Guy)

The Pittsburgh Pie Guy is a local baker named Lou, who started baking pies over 10 years ago as a hobby. Hobby quickly turned into obsession, which in turn became a business. Lou and a friend named Wren worked the farmers' markets, catered weddings, and sold wholesale to a few coffeeshops around town from 2012-14, but moved on to other things after two successful seasons. After many adventures around the world, Lou returned home in 2020 to restart the company by himself, which re-opened in 2022. Now he manages a staff of bakers who make pies for both retail and wholesale markets.
Lou and his staff make both sweet and savory pies with local ingredients, using whatever fruits, vegetables, and meats are growing and being raised according to the seasons. All his pies are made from scratch. He specializes in mini sweet pies (3" and 5") but also makes large pies, as well as individual-serving savory hand pies and quiches. He is excited for another season of farmers' markets!
