Hi there! I Casey am a current University of Idaho student studying in Computer Science. In addition to being a student, I created a small crocheting business called CJCrochet. While it is a funny combination of interests; crocheting has been my creative escape for the last couple of years. I make various things, from apparel to household to trinkets. I enjoy crocheting items that replace my household items. I sell sustainable practical products and colorful accessories.
I also find great joy in gifting others handmade items for special occasions. Seeing the product of my growing technique and long hours is rewarding. I make all my products in here Moscow and do all the work surrounding the crochet product. I create my patterns, purchase the materials, and crochet the product myself. My favorite thing to crochet would have to be granny squares. It's one of the first things I learned how to do and there are so many fun variations of it to learn.
Crocheting is creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials. In fact, it cannot be machine-made (yet) because it is three-dimensional and depends on the manipulation of specific layers.
