About

Art Den by Annie is rooted in my deep connection to Inuit culture and craftsmanship. As an Inuit artist and designer based in Ottawa, I blend traditional knowledge with modern design to create jewellery, accessories, and paintings. Using Canadian and Inuit-sourced materials, including Nunavut-certified fur, I craft unique pieces that celebrate Inuit traditions. My abstract contemporary paintings, inspired by mythology and life in Nunavut, have been acquired by the Canada Council for the Arts, and I was a finalist for the Salt Spring National Art Prize. My work is available at St. Lawrence Market and the ADAAWE Indigenous Business Hub, bringing Inuit artistry into mainstream spaces.

I will sell Inuit arts, crafts, jewellery and accessories. All my products are handmade by me. For my jewellery and accessories, I use recycled and Nunavut-certified fur. I would like to sell the following items:
- earrings
- sealskin flower pins
- red dress pins
- mittens
- bow ties
- beaded necklaces
- fur collars
- purses
- mukluks
- paintings by me and reprints of my work.
