Pear Almond Tart Bars

These Pear Almond Tart Bars are adapted from a traditional french frangipane tart recipe and are another favorite among customers! They have a shortbread crust with an almond frangipane layer and sliced pears on top. Even though they appear decadent, they actually don't have much sugar-- the almond and pear add enough sweetness-- and they are delicious for breakfast on their own or dressed up with ice cream or whipped cream for dessert!
