Estelle Bakery is a dedicated gluten-free establishment that makes baked goods sourced from local purveyors as much as possible. Everything is made on-site in Southeast Portland for special orders, wholesale for cafes and restaurants, or local events (i.e. farmers markets, Portland Night Market, etc.). We strive to make the most delicious gluten-free products in Portland so those who must or choose to follow a gluten-free diet don't also have to miss out on tasty treats!
Estelle is a dedicated gluten-free facility so there is NO chance of cross-contamination. Even with all the gluten-free options available in Portland these days, it can still be hard to find places that can guarantee a Celiac-safe product. I personally have Celiac's and make sure there is no gluten anywhere near my kitchen so customers can feel safe about my product.
I've owned and operated Estelle since 2017 when I bought a food truck and outfitted it into a gluten-free bakery. I am diagnosed Celiac (since 2007) and catered for friends and family for years before deciding to open my own bakery. Since then I have mainly done wholesale for local cafes and restaurants, special orders, and events like birthdays, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, the Portland Saturday Market, and the Portland Night Market. I love doing markets and events because they allow me direct interaction with my customers and because of the wonderful community created amongst the vendors. My goal is to make goods that don't taste gluten-free so that those who must or choose to live a gluten-free lifestyle don't feel like they're sacrificing texture or flavor in doing so!
