Round Table Farm

Round Table Farm is a return to local produce…
...grown sustainably in beautiful green abundance in Winlock, Washington, for the health and vitality of the community. I'm Dylan, and together with my husband Dave, we left the city and founded the farm in 2015 to counter our frustration with the consequences of modern industrial agriculture, with a dream to make a difference. Since then, we’ve worked to build infrastructure, build soil, and gain expertise with everything we’ve got. Through a community volunteer organization, I even founded and managed the Winlock Saturday Farmers’ Market, which has had two successful seasons impacting the health of neighbors and friends in our small town. In 2018, we took all our experience, sharpened our focus, and expanded production to reach more people (in wonderful Vancouver, WA) in search of the highest quality local produce. In 2020, we plan to expand even further! Round Table Farm specializes in gourmet salad greens, creative salad mixes, microgreens, and produce items that enhance your salad, like radishes, tomatoes, turnips, and cucumbers.
Round Table Farm favors the ecological method of raising sustainable produce that emphasizes the health of the customer, the land, native species, the soil, and the farmer. At a round table, everyone has an equal seat, and that’s our philosophy when it comes to the participants in a vital and healthy farm community. Using the best methods from organic and sustainable practices, we use intensive multi-species cover cropping, less-till permanent beds, crop rotation, encourage beneficial insects and earthworms, and prefer manual weed and pest control over chemical approaches. We use the best ancient and modern technology to achieve high yields of quality produce while reducing our fossil fuel use by the use of hand tools, passive solar heated greenhouses, and appropriate-scale farm equipment. Our desire is to be a pioneer in the small farm revolution, and invite you to join us.
Dylan and Dave
Dylan Jones and Dave Turczyn met in San Diego in 2002. Both of us were raised in the suburbs, then moved to the big city and worked office jobs, until we decided we wanted to make a difference in the food movement. After working a full year apprenticeship on an organic farm, Dylan set out to find land suitable for farming near large cities in the Pacific Northwest. We settled in Winlock, Washington in 2015 and immediately began farming and enjoying the country life. Our passion is healthy food, fitness, family, and creating the positive change we want to see.
