In 2000 Sharen discovered stained glass and metalwork—shifting her focus from two-dimensional art to three-dimensional creations. Sharen's creations tell stories of humor, hope, strength, and resilience—both from her own experiences and those of her clients. She makes unique 3d quirky creatures like frogs, lizards, owls and ladybugs, whimsical hanging window and wall art like trees humming birds, light houses, orcas and dolphins, sturdy, graceful, 3d sail boats and lovely delicate looking dragonflies and butterflies. Each creation can be collected in 3 sizes, colours, and price ranges. Sizes range from an inch tall to 36 inches tall.
Her years of research resulted in the perfect alloy of metal to complement her unusual rare and premium stained glass choices and allow her work to withstand weather, temperature, and breakage. Many pieces are made using special metal work techniques to be bendable, re-positional and virtually unbreakable, so they can be enjoyed for many years, possibly forever.
