As a ceramic artist of mixed Japanese heritage, I create handmade pottery that blends functionality with artistry, inspired by my cultural roots and diverse life experiences. Growing up in Tokyo, Okinawa, Los Angeles, and Memphis, my work reflects wabi-sabi aesthetics, embracing organic glazes, subtle textures, and traditional Japanese motifs like Daruma dolls and Maneki Neko. Crafted in my Northern Kentucky home studio, each piece is designed to bring a sense of zen, tranquility, and harmony into everyday life, offering a moment of peace in a hectic world.
