Traveling Herbalist makes handmade soaps from a unique and indigenous high-heat soap-making process, unlike traditional cold-pressed soaps. My ingredients are a basis of conversation with my customers because I (1) I love talking to my customers and (2) I get to educate customers who are
only accustomed to westernized ingredients. For instance, natural salts for my scrubs are made from Black lava Salt from Hawaii, and sugar scrubs are infused with oils made with infused tea and plant oils. My natural body butters are salves and are never whipped, which is common in the United States. I love talking with customers and introducing unknown ingredients such as Tucuma butter, MuruMura Butter, and Bacuri butters from the Amazon that tighten and lift the skin and can be used as a hair moisturizer s well. My soaps have real cocoa butter from my travels to Grenada, provided and processed straight from the tree. I can boast no chemicals added which is always a great conversation starter. These ingredients in their natural state maintain the continuity of vitamins, anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties meant to beautify and moisturize. My products are made with plant powders, seeds, oils, and herbs, such as Hibiscus Oil, Pumpkin seed oil, Blue Spiralina, Macha, Dragon Fruit, and Lemon Peel Powder. Products made with natural essential oils are called Amazing Vegan Bath products; products made with certain seed oils, honey or fragranced oils (without parabens or solvents) are called Amazing Soul Bath products and are labeled accordingly.
