We are a coastal home decor business that focuses on hospitality beads, prints and accessories with a gilded touch. Our hospitality beads are a nod to southern hospitality and a reminder of our strength and capacities. The world is her oyster. No grit no pearl.
Production Practices
We are an eco friendly line that uses non toxic paint and all natural materials. Our wooden beads are all hand painted, our shells are located on the east coast and hand selected, and each piece is crafted off of the coast of Florida or Virginia.

Childhood friends, Jill Griffin & Amanda McCrowell, have been creating businesses together since before they could drive. Rooted in a desire to grow their shared hobbies and interests beyond just the two of them and the walls of their own homes, The Gilded Shell was born.
Advocates for sun, sand, and the sea as a means to restore the soul - they decided to bring the idea of that coastal cure and belief that the world is your oyster to every piece they create - with just a touch of gold… because they simply couldn’t resist.
