Yeti Chocolates is an artisan chocolate company based in the Wenatchee Valley that was originally founded in 2007 by owner/chocolatier Willow Merritt. The company was officially licensed as a business by Washington state in 2018. Its mission is to create small batch artisan chocolates using as many local and organic ingredients as possible with no added preservatives. I strive to create confections with bold flavors and designs to provide a one of a kind experience for customers to enjoy. Yeti Chocolates are more than just a chocolate to eat, but an experience for the senses.
I have been working on making Yeti Chocolates a reality since 2006. Classically trained in French patisserie, I discovered I loved the creative challenges of working with chocolate. Using the foundational skills acquired in my formal training, I delved into becoming a chocolatier. Countless chocolate experiments in my home kitchen, late night binge-reading culinary threads online, and numerous Amazon book orders later, I was determined to hone my skills to produce quality, artisan chocolate. I am now proud that Yeti Chocolates is going into its second year as an official business and that people continue to love the edible art that I create.
