We are a small aquaponics farm in North Central IL. Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants in a soilless environment). We are currently raising tilapia and a couple varieties of lettuce, including romaine and oak leaf, that we are primarily selling to local customers and a couple local grocery stores on a year round basis. We are Certified Naturally Grown and have been in business for almost 1 year.
Extended Growing Season Non Gmo Integrated Pest Management
We are in a heated greenhouse so we are able to grow year round. We do not use any chemicals in the production of our crops. We use biological insects to control any pest insect that we may encounter.
