Ria 'Air' Garcia

Ria 'Air' Garcia a internationally published transgender cartoonist living and working in Durham, NC. Though often whimsical in nature, her work focuses on themes of trans spirituality and community. In the summer of 2023 she began an new phase of her professional career when she began vending art at a wide variety of events, focusing on her Transgender Robotic Cat series of drawings. Though starting with simple collector-prints of her art, the business has since blossomed to include much more. Now, while still publishing and continuing to facilitate workshops, she also offers a wide variety of high-quality art products at events and on her new website, riagarcia.com. In addition to prints, she also now offers: T-shirts, mugs, throw pillows, totes, and even luxury yoga mats (also stickers, lighters, keychains and more).
