Kula Foods Inc.

Sprouted in Vancouver in 2018, KULA is the culmination of founder
Asha Wheeldon’s diverse cultural experiences. Raised in Kenya, her
journey led her through Toronto and eventually to beautiful British
Columbia. Inspired by her East-African family recipes she aimed to
share something totally unique that was a reflection of her roots.
She was on a mission to innovate the ever growing plant-based
movement to make it more diverse and inclusive for all and thus
KULA was born!
From conception, KULA has been community driven and focused
on bringing delicious and nutritious Afro Vegan to our plates.
Meaning “to eat” in Swahili, KULA’s aim is to unite humanity with
the power of conscious, healthy, sustainable food and the love for
great cuisine!
