Two Bears

The inspiration for this design is a popular hiking location in Wenatchee, WA., currently known as Saddle Rock. This is one of our favorite local hiking trails!
The Wenatchi Tribe, P’squosa Indians tale of the landmark:
Black Bear and Grizzly Bear are seen squaring off with one another. The two bears bickered nonstop & Coyote grew tired of them arguing. After many warnings the wise Coyote turned the two bears into stone because they couldn’t get along.
