1100 Farm

1100 Farm is a family-run farm that has undergone a transformational shift from conventional contract pig farming (CAFO) to sustainable mushroom cultivation. Our farm focuses on producing high-quality, functional mushroom products, fresh mushrooms, and healthy food options while promoting sustainability, rewilding, and conservation. We aim to educate the community and serve as a demonstration hub for better agricultural practices.

The farm is managed by Tanner Faaborg, alongside his brother Tyler and parents Tammy and Rand, who will also be selling at the Des Moines Farmers Market.
