About

Newks is an all natural, vegan hot sauce company, located in Portland Oregon. We currently make three types of hot sauce. Our original habanero and banana hot sauce is what got us started. We also have an extra hot version, with a Carolina Reaper pepper kick. Lastly, we have a chipotle pepper hot sauce.

Programs and Partners

Production Practices

We sterilize our bottles and bottle them with the HFH method. This makes the product stable before opening without refrigeration.

I am originally from Maine, but moved to Portland after college in 2014. I work as a sound engineer and designer. I have always loved cooking with fresh local food, for my friends and family. I have found that running a small hot sauce business has been a great change of pace from my usual day to day work life in the tech field.
