Beignets are a deep-fried yeasted pastry brought to New Orleans from France over 200 years ago and are the ancestor of the doughnut. They are made from a brioche dough cold-fermented over 24 hours. The ones we offer are simple and freshly made at the market (if plugins are available) and rolled in sugar infused with a variety of flavors like citrus, chai, or cinnamon.
