Flying Coyote Farm

Flying Coyote Farm is a Certified Organic farm operating on 37 acres in unincorporated Sandy, Oregon, at the base of Mt. Hood. We cultivate 8.5 acres for diverse vegetable production, growing over 100 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. An additional 10 acres is maintained in rotationally grazed pasture for our meat birds and pigs, demonstrating our commitment to integrated agricultural systems that build climate resilience.
Our commitment to soil health and sustainable agriculture drives everything we do. With a team of five year-round staff and ten seasonal employees, we distribute our products through multiple channels: a year-round CSA program serving the local community, weekly presence at the Hollywood Farmers Market, and partnerships with approximately 50 restaurants throughout the Portland metropolitan area. Additionally, we maintain a significant weekly food donation program to Sandy Vista apartments, providing culturally appropriate organic produce to 54 low-income Hispanic households, with annual donations exceeding $10,000 in produce value.
As a farm that focuses on soil, animal, and crop health, we constantly strive to increase the fertility and vibrancy of our land through regenerative agricultural practices. Our approach balances production goals with climate resilience, implementing practices such as rotational grazing, cover cropping, and maintaining biodiversity on our working farm. This integrated agricultural system not only serves our community but also builds long-term soil health and ecosystem resilience while supporting food security for vulnerable populations.
