Golden Age Kombucha is an exclusive full flavored bubbly probiotic tea drink. Far less vinegary than the everyday kombuchas found in store, Golden Age is focused on environmental sustainability and partnering with local green businesses and small local organic farms.

Valerie founded Golden Age Kombucha in 2018 after spending 5 years making home brew. Valerie started bringing kombucha to festivals as an offering and people would ask where they could purchase it in Portland. Having no commercial space to sell the kombucha, she gave it away for free and used it as a technique for bartering and trading until she found a commercial space at Dick's Kitchen Primal Burger where she was able to work out a space for trade with the owner. Valerie enjoys experimenting with and making various flavors of kombucha on a weekly and seasonal basis.
Her enthusiasm for kombucha brewing and her business has yet to fade and she is still thoroughly enjoying her work! She is now in the process of building out a certified brewery in her garage that she plans to finish in 2025.
