Monadnock Muttwear, now proudly located in sunny Tampa, Florida, continues its mission of creating eco-friendly, stylish pet goods with sustainability at its heart. Inspired by my two adventurous Siberian Huskies and a passion for the outdoors, Monadnock Muttwear offers thoughtfully handmade reversible bandanas, collar bows, sailor bows, and catnip toys for pets who love to look cool AF while caring for the planet.

Each piece is designed with love, durability, and a rebellious edge, blending the rugged spirit of New England with the vibrant energy of Tampa’s coastal vibe. Whether you’re exploring trails or strolling the shore, Monadnock Muttwear is here to keep your pets looking their best while making a difference.

Monadnock Muttwear offers premium handmade reversible pet bandanas and accessories made with purpose and style. Each bandana is handcrafted from two coordinating high-quality cotton prints. The tie-on reversible bandanas are hand-cut, ironed, and sewn with a serger for extra durability giving a clean and professional look. The tie-on design allows for an easily adjustable fit by rolling down the top, which reveals the reversible side. Our bandanas are made in sizes Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large. Extra small bandanas offer a snap for more sizing flexibility.

Collar bows are usually one print that is hand-cut, lined with interfacing, and sewn with a straight stitch. Collar bows are super easy to put on with a simple twist! These offer an alternative to bows with velcro or elastic. Collar bows can easily be added for flair to a harness, purse, or luggage! They are one size and can tie on collars up to 1" wide.

Sailor Bows are made from high-quality cotton that is hand-cut and sewn. Interfacing is used to provide stabilization. The bows are attached to the collar by an elastic hoop that is sewn to the backside of the bow, underneath the centerpiece. Sailor Bows have tails that aren't attached, and can be removed to become a classic bowtie. These come in options of small ~3.5 in. length and large ~5 in length.

Neck ties are also made from high-quality fabric, sometimes using both coordinating prints. Patterns are hand-cut with interfacing and sewn with a straight stitch. These are made as a one-size-fits-all. You can simply tug the tie while holding the centerpiece and adjust it to be slightly smaller or larger to fit a range of collar widths.

We also offer fun catnip toys for feline friends! Our "Codnip" is a fish pattern cat kicker cut out of durable cotton canvas and filled with 5 tablespoons of pure New England organic catnip. These are double-stitched for durability and are 8 inches in length by 4.5 inches wide. Purr Swirls are made from fleece and filled with 1 tsp of catnip.

When it comes to packaging, we strive to be as eco-conscious as possible and limit unnecessary packaging and plastics. We use compostable mailers and kraft paper as product packaging. If needed, we can wrap the product in compostable cellophane bags.
