Batik T-shirts

Each shirt is hand painted with wax and dyed with Procion fiber reactive dyes. Each shirt is dyed twice. The second dye bath is always a darker color than the first to provide contrast in the design. The end result is a beautiful, rich, textured color. Because each shirt is done by hand each is an individual work of art and no two are ever exactly alike. The T-shirt is a Gildan shirt sewn with dyeable thread. The finished product is preshrunk and machine washable with other colored clothing.
