We ensure a quality product by creating small batches of tallow at a time; pouring time and love into each batch. The cornerstone of our tallow balms (beef tallow) has been lab tested by SC Labs in CA. It has undergone testing and came back free of pesticides, heavy metals, microorganisms and mold. This ensures the tallow we're using is of the best quality for your skin.

Hey there, my name is Joanna (Jojo). I currently dwell in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs. I'm the creator of Jojo's Apothecary and my mission is to bring clean, low ingredient, affordable, artisan skin care products to my community. I learned about beef tallow and it's many benefits while working as a butcher at a small family owned butcher shop in Colorado Springs, CO. I love being able to work directly with small farms and other local artisans to create beautiful, low waste, skin nourishing products. Together we can create a more sustainable future for the next generations if only we can take small steps towards sustainable practices in our own communities!
