Valentina Lopez is a talented pastry chef and the visionary behind La Bonbonnière, a gourmet cookie business she originally founded in Venezuela in 2016. Her journey began after she earned her professional cooking degree and a chocolatier certification, both of which solidified her love for culinary arts and creativity in desserts. Valentina's cookies are a fusion of flavors inspired by her multicultural experiences and passion for storytelling, combining unique ingredients and textures to create one-of-a-kind treats.
Since moving to Charlotte, Valentina has focused on introducing her brand to the local community, emphasizing both her Venezuelan roots and her expertise in fusion-style pastries. La Bonbonnière Bakery has grown from selling cookies to friends and family to an online store with a loyal customer base, thanks to her attention to detail and commitment to quality. As she works on relaunching La Bonbonnière in the U.S., Valentina is also exploring opportunities to further connect with her customers through initiatives like “Letters from a Baker,” where she shares stories and updates on her baking journey. Her ultimate goal is to expand her brand while sharing her love for food, creativity, and her personal journey through her culinary creations.
