Shrooms 2 Grow, LLC
Vendor
We are an organic mushroom farm in southern Franklin County, started in 2013. We specialize in gourmet & medicinal forest farmed mushrooms. Most of our mushrooms grow in logs under filtered sunlight. We carry a variety of mushrooms that are high in proteins and minerals that enhance the immune system.. We have a large selection of Sun Dried mushrooms and powders along with reishi and turkey tail that is used as a tea to 'help' boost the immunity and "help" prevent certain cancers. We also sell inoculated logs, mushroom blocks, and spawn for mushroom growing. Stop by our site and sign up for a mushroom class or farm tour.

I have been certified to sell certain wild foraged mushrooms when in season by Mushroom Mountain; Tradd Cotter. This is the first year that NC has allowed this. I have been a wild forager for many years.
Beth Gayden with Shrooms 2 Grow LLC
I started Shrooms 2 Grow in 2013 after years of a fascination and learning about wild choice edible mushrooms that grow in out state. I wanted to incorporate my love of mushrooms into a productive agriculture and educational based business that could benefit the local community. We specialize in mushrooms here at the farm with an emphasis on outdoor forest farmed mushrooms along with an indoor facility for growing spawn and allows us to have mushrooms year round. We have a large variety to choose from. The mushrooms we grow are not just a healthy non-meat protein. Our mushrooms provide immune building properties, neuron re-builders, high in vitamin D, mental clarity, cholesterol reducing, and are not just for food, but a good healthy living. Most mushrooms are picked the day of the market so you will not find any fresher mushrooms at your local grocery store. We sale at The Wake Forest Market every Saturday, Raleigh's State Farmers Market 7 days a week at MAE Farm Meats, WakeMed Farmers Market every Tuesday in season. If I am not there my farm manager and sales man will be there; Kim Baucom. He has come on board and shows great passion and interest in learning all he can about mushrooms and their benefits. He is a an important part of our team and I am blessed to have him. Kim has mastered the sun drying, chopping, grinding and packaging of various mushrooms that we carry.
