Flint Knife

My father has knapped stones like this since his scout days in northern California where one of the elders taught this age-old craft to turn stones into the kinds of tools once used by our hunter-gatherer ancestors.

All such stone knives at our store are left slightly blunted for safety purposes and should be cared for as one would for ceramics or other objects prone to shattering -- in the wild, this usually means your stone knife just became a stone arrowhead... ;]
