Waymo, formerly known as the Google Self-Driving Car Project is an autonomous and electric vehicle on a mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Making it safer, more accessible, and more sustainable to get around — without the need for anyone in the driver’s seat.

Waymo is taking our autonomous cars on a road trip across upstate New York this fall to introduce people to this exciting technology and the science behind it. Most recently we were in Rochester, where we exhibited at the Rochester Public Market, Rochester Institute of Technology, and a meeting with the National Federation of the Blind. Syracuse is our next stop and we're already planning a guest lecture and parked demonstration at Syracuse University at the end of this month.

We've found farmer's markets are fantastic opportunities to inspire K-12 and college STEM students, and provide community members the opportunity to see and touch the cars in real life - plus ask autonomous vehicle engineers questions in person! We'll also have stickers and other swag for kids and adults alike.
